Terms of use

These terms cover every app from Oops Studio. Today the apps are friendtips and Concerto. Before we release another app, we add it here.

Using the apps

Our apps are free to use for your own personal purposes. Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer them or our servers.

We may change an app or stop offering it. If we shut an app down, we will say so on this site. We will not let it stop working without notice.

friendtips

The places in friendtips are opinions. They come from people we know, and they are true at the time they are written. Do not copy the lists out of the app and publish them as your own.

Opening hours, prices and whether a place still exists all change, often without anyone telling us. Check before you travel a long way. We try to keep the lists up to date, but we cannot promise that any detail is correct on the day you read it.

Nobody pays to be in friendtips, and nobody can. If that ever changes, the app will say so clearly.

If you import a list, you must have the right to share it. We can remove a list that breaks these terms.

Concerto

Concerto uses Apple’s ShazamKit to find songs. It does not find every song. A live version, a new song or a loud crowd can mean a song is missed or the wrong song is found. Check the set list before you rely on it.

A set list that you share can be seen by anyone with its link. Do not put anything in its name that you do not want others to see.

Other services

Our apps link to services that are not ours, such as Google Maps, Spotify, Apple Music and bunq. When you tap through, that company’s terms apply.

The tip jar

Tips are gifts. They are voluntary, they buy you nothing, and we cannot refund them. Thank you, though. They really do go on beer.

Liability

Our apps are provided as they are, without warranties. As far as the law allows, Oops Studio is not liable for any loss from your use of the apps. Nothing here limits a right you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law that an agreement cannot limit.

Law

Dutch law applies to these terms.
