friendtips for iPhone
Everyone has a friend with the good list. The one who knows the bakery worth the walk, and which of the four cafes on that square is the right one. friendtips puts that list on a map, with the note your friend wrote for each place, so you can open it when you are standing on the square.

Not every place in the city. Only the ones someone you trust has been to and would go back to. Filter by restaurants, cafés, bars or bakeries, and open a place for its photos, hours and directions.
Say what you are in the mood for, keep only the places that are open right now, and friendtips picks one place from the list for you.
Send a list or one place as a link, and it opens right in the app. Your lists stay on your phone, so they work when you travel without a data plan.
friendtips started because we kept sending the same messages. Someone would go to Amsterdam for a weekend, and we would type out the same eight places from memory, badly, in a chat that they would lose by Thursday.
So the list moved into an app. One map, only the places someone you trust has been to, and the reason each one is on the list.
